NO MUSIC!

WHAT has happened to music in the last 6 days? I haven't ever been so depressed, searching around trying to find something to post about...

Cascada? rubbish... terrible lyrics that merely describe what needs to happen - STOP THE BEAT; it's so piss poor.
Any Remixes? no... in fairness they haven't much to work with, but Ultrabeat, Wideboys and many more have all failed to make an impact

So what about bulletproof? yes, that's okay - indeed the Foamo Remix is amazing. I blogged about that 2 weeks ago, though!

How about When Love Takes Over - old news again i'm afraid... and isn't that piano piece just a rip of Coldplay's 'Clocks'?

Even Dizzee has let me down... I just can't seem to like 'Holiday' at all! Bring back Calvin and David, Mr Rascal!

Well, maybe - Green Day have had this beauty tucked away for a while, but now it's being released and about time too. Another great from The BJ Band with clever lyrics and meaning. Taking notes, Cascada? Here it is :-



Madina Lake - a band lovable for their hate of everything have released 'Let's get outta here' and I'm afraid it's just not what I was hoping/waiting/expecting from the trio - Mainstream never made any sense to them, apparently, but in my opinion they may have just sold their souls to those corporate devils they hated so much... one wanders what their price was. Still, I suppose it's quite nice in a bland, poppy way :-



All that's left is to talk about Just Jack. With him releasing Embers a while back and doing ok with it (whilst not chart topping) he's managed to release his latest effort without disturbing the waters at all. The Day I Died is the day I listened to this song... OK, tad harsh, but it is a pretty bad effort from a man who can produce great music. Just to convince you, here he is covering T.I. in the live lounge a while back :-



A depressing week for music, lets hope I find the inspiration from somewhere soon!
